
A proxy is a server that acts as an intermediary between you the user and the internet by forwarding requests backwards and forwards.
Using a proxy allows you to surf the web as if you are surfing from the UK (with a UK IP Address) this means you are able to access many popular websites that blocked either due to UK side restrictions on overseas visitors (BBC Iplayer) or Turkish side restrictions on external sites you can access (youtube and 100's more)
